Gra-Mar Mission Statement:

The mission of Gra-Mar Learning Academy is to use a standard-based curriculum to prepare and motivate students to become intra-dependent learners.


Gra-Mar Shared Vision Statement:

The staff of Gra-Mar Learning Academy envisions a community where learning and teaching are exciting and students are performing at/ or above grade level in all academic areas.


Gra-Mar Belief Statements:

The faculty and staff of Gra-Mar Learning Academy believe that we:

· Hold students, parents, and community partners as valued member of our learning community;

· Create a shared vision that guides decisions;

· Provide organizational models that support meaningful relationship and learning;

· Offer multifaceted guidance and support services to assist students become participatory members of their community and the world around them;

· Implement a curriculum that provides relevant and challenging learning opportunities;

· Help students become independent thinkers, intra-dependent learners and contributing members of a diverse society;

· Upholding high expectations for everyone in the learning community;

· Assess, evaluate, and differentiate to promote quality learning;

· Are aligned with MNPS district policies and strategic plans.
